Hi, I’m Marisa!
I was born and raised in Michigan, inspired by the hardworking, soulful spirit of Detroit. In 2011, I moved to the West to study Psychology and Biology at Colorado State University, where I completed my first yoga training and Vipassana course. Nearly 15 years later, I remain dedicated to practicing and teaching yoga in Denver. Beyond the physical benefits, I believe these ancient tools help us navigate the inherent messiness of being human. I am deeply grateful to my teachers for introducing me to this practice and humbled by the opportunity to share it with others.

Yoga, as a way of life and a philosophy, can be practiced by anyone with inclination to undertake it, for yoga belongs to humanity as a whole. It is not the property of any one group or any one individual, but can be followed by any and all, in any corner of the globe, regardless of class, creed or religion.
